Default best throttle body mass air combintion for ls6 intake?

I have a 98 z a4. Current mods are SLP lid, Tsp long tubes and true duals, ls6 intake, 160 thermostat and 3.73 gear. What would be my best option for a throttle body and mass air with the ls6 intake? Plan on having the car dyno tuned after the mass air and throttle body upgrades and wanted some estimated power #s with the listed mods.

Your 98s stock TB,MAF,fuel injectors are good to around 450rwhp. At your power level its a waste of time. I believe they make an 80mm TB that will fit but thats about all.

your best combination STARTS with a 3600rpm stall converter. Period.

I agree, a converter would be a better mod, more expensive but way better.

port ur stock TB + descreen ur stock MAF for results that reflect ur current setup

there really is no 'best' TB, the bigger the better however it doesnt really matter if ur not putting down huge numbers to begin with

I'm gonna get the stock tb ported when I get the car tuned in a few weeks. So the SLP 85 mm mass air prolly wouldn't help any when I get it tuned?

Take the low budget advice. Descreen MAF, port TB, and call it
good. You don't need any more until you have the heads & cam
& exhaust to draw it down.

That's a "no" to SLP MAF unless you like making your tuner guess
about ****. Sound like fun? Right.

Do not get a aftermarket mass air sensor. Just home port the stock throttle body with a dremel. Sound scary for some to do, but just go slow.

If you really want to run a larger MAF then just get one for a z06 vette. I picked mine up used for 90 and then you will need a wiring adapter I believe from fast toys which is 20 I believe. If you really want to be fast build from the rear forward, not the engine back to the rear

Bigger MAF and TB will gain you next to nothing with your current set up. Only thing I would consider for your air intake is porting the TB and maybe the intake manifold. Next mod= stall converter.

Stall will prolly b next mod in the spring. With the current listed mods with a tune, anyone have a guess at estimated power?
