Default Even mustang owners know gm motors are ftmfw!!

Got an email with the article In it. Thought it was kind of funny in a way. even though it's not unheard of swapping an LS motor in a mustang.

i actually saw this car when it was at muscle carz im not sure if that place is even still there. they had some nice cars but in my opinion they were overpriced. that mustang was nicely built though, the car had top notch parts and wiring/fit and finish was awesome (except for the stock valve covers) they could have at least painted them. the interior was a bit loud bright yellow with embroidering everywhere isn't my thing, it definitely looks like someone put allot of money in it but what i always wondered was WHY YELLOW with PURPLE strips with freakin dice on them, the outside isnt as bad as the inside but to each his own. the guy spent 150k building it when i saw the car they wanted around 70k i beleive.

What kind of money you looking to spend on a great deal? What cubes? 6 liters are pretty cheap. I got mine for 700, cam for 200, PRs and springs 300. Then i carbed it so intake and ignition controller was 600$. That is a junkyard 6.0 that sees 7200 RPM all day every time i drive it and has been in the car running for nearly 2 years. The small blocks cost money to run as good as this.

its the old engine from my s10, the money is already spent. and it runs alot better than a 6.0. the reason i would want to put a LS? in is because of driveabilty it would be better than 3-6 mpg

Well, i am jelous of the LS swapped stangs since they just swap flanges on the headers and they have direct fit exhaust. Unlike my third gens....very limited.
