Default Pic/video request from those with HIDs

I'm contemplating whether I should get 5k HIDs for the fog lights for a 98-02 camaro. Definitely don't want lows with HID though. It would be great if I could get a picture or video of just the HID fog lights on, inside the car at night/dusk. Also maybe a picture of just the HID fogs on, at night from a distance, would be great. I want to get a feel of how bright they are and if they have glare even in the projector assembly.

You can find them at DDMTuning.com....they are rather cheap but good kits. I am going to get HIDs for my lows and fogs. Both 35w kits with 10k bulbs, should look pretty good with my car being black.

Thank you that helps, they don't look like they have too much glare. If you still have the car could you get a night picture with just the fogs on? That would be excellent if you could.

HIDs in the fogs wont have any glare. Also they are low to the ground, almost impossible to effect any on coming traffic. Idk why I waited so long to put HIDs in there, they are about 5x brighter then the stock crap bulb.

Did the foglight bulbs just slide in for you guys or did you have to take housing out? Also any melting even though Camaro fogs are glass.

Bump....I'm gonna do a 4300k kit in my fogs only and would like to see a pic with fogs hid and stock halogen low beams. Also, is a harness a must have for the fog lights?

^^^ A Relay harness is not a must have but it is recommended.

It's better to be safe than sorry.

I don't have a relay harness, but it does flicker a little when they're first turned on. Not long at all though. I have 6000ks.

Not a good pic, but it'll give you an idea..

I actually have a harness on my wife's car and have no problems. It's a 35w kit. I may try it without and see, if I have to buy one, I will.

I'm on phone or I would post the pics.. They are spread out, might have to look around. Some just showing all my hids, some when I was installing fogs.
Hope it helps.
