ls2 N motion double roller question?
I purchased a ls2 n motion double roller timing chain from texas speed . Well recently i finally got to putting it on ... I noticed there was quite abit of slack in the chain. I was told that this timing chain uses no chain tensioner. But i found that people have been running the gm black ls7 dampeners.. Let me know what you think is best thanks

I would say to just leave the Ls2 style on it simply because there's no chance of it breaking like those other spring type tensioners ( they do break, just go to camaro5 or corvette forums), No drag and really no wear. I went with the Ls2 dampner and a Katech C5R t/c with my setup.

noice-e timing chain...
I had a good well known name brand double roller timing chain and it was really good and strong, problem was without the tension-er it made a lot of noise, i am now going to use a single, with factory sprockets and tension-er, here is the chain link.... from Lingenfelter performance
