Military Hotrod Club - Keelser anybody?

Just found out i am heading to Keesler for 6 weeks for a course. Can anybody tell me how the local area is? Is it hot and humid in October? Whats the local area like?

Im on the Seabee Base about 15 minutes down the road from you, its not that bad here weather wise as long as your somewhat used to heat but it will be cooling down here shortly. The car scene here is actually very impressive, and you're just in time for cruisin the coast! its october 4-11 i believe? and its deff. a lot of fun. I'm stationed in Norfolk, VA right now, but i will coming down for cruisin the coast. I've lived there for 20 years. It doesn't get that humid unless it rains a lot.
