Default Aussie HJ Kingswood single turbo lsx376

Another Australian ute thread

I bought my Kingswood ute about 3 years ago, when it was running a basic Holden stroker setup. Since then it's been through a few changes.

Model: 1975 HJ ute

Colour: Mercedes Pastel Blue

Body Mods: WB Statesman Deville front, doors and bumpers, rear bumper shortened, all bolt holes removed, bare metal respray, tonneau hooks removed, chrome grille, WB taillights

Engine Type: LS1 from a Holden VY SS

Engine Mods: comp cam, comp valvetrain, Canton sheetmetal sump, remote oil filter, mafless tune, alloy Aussie Desert Coolers Radiator, twin fans etc, colder thermostat, corvette fuel reg/filter, Bosch 044

Power: 270rwkw/360rwhp

Intake: Yellaterra mafless intake pipe, ported throttlebody

Exhaust: CAE 1 3/4" tri y extractors, twin 3 inch exhaust, varex muffler

Gearbox: Built TH400, full manual, reverse pattern, B&M transmission cooler

Diff: VN LSD, 3.45 gears

Brakes: WB Statesman 4 wheel discs, PBR calipers

Suspension: Lovells super low springs on front, billet 2" blocks on rear, Koni adjustable shocks all round.

Wheels: Show Wheels Streeters, 18x7 on the front and 20x8.5 on the back

Interior: WB Statesman Deville interior, Autometer speedo, tacho, fuel, water temp and oil pressure gauges, Momo steering wheel, B&M pro ratchet shifter

Up until a few months ago it was my daily driver. Now I've started collecting bits and pieces for a big single turbo conversion

Cool

WOW... Looking at that as a "Yank", that just looks so weird, yet still strangely COOL!! Even though I know that Holden == GM, the side view kind of reminded me of a F*rd Ranchero that we'd see up here! (No offense intended!) And I flat-out LOVE that intake manifold setup you have!!

Very cool man, add me to the list of people who'd love to see a good vid or two...
