Default Interior squeak.. help!!

Hey guys, My car has developed this wierd squeaking that sounds like there are crickets in the trunk. I was able to trace it to somewhere on the inside rear quarters. It is not the hatch, or the hatch supports. I had a friend drive while I sat in the back, and I held everything I could. I did pull the seat belt retractors thinking that was them, but they didnt make any squeaky noises when i was messing with them. Any ideas?

Or the spare...
A loose spare tire will squeek (rubber against metal).

i know mine made a cricket like noise(drivers side in the rear) and i dont where it was coming from exactly, but i folded the rear back rest down and messed with the rear seat belt brackets and the noise went away. eventualy the noise came back but i ended up removing the back seats and everything and now its gone for good.

id check there.

AHHHH The cricket noise. I had it in my 95 Z, Drove me NUTS!!!! Had it my TA, FIXED IT! It was the top half of the back seats. I stuffed a few pieces of cardboard behind the back of the seats. Problem solved. I bet if you go and shake the back of your seats now, there will be some play in them. Stuff some cardboard behind them, like a shim, and try shaking them. It will be much firmer. This took away about 95% of the problem in my car. hope this helps.

Haha I'm on #5, blue 88 IROC, Red 94Z, (hence the name) White 94Z, Chameleon 95Z convertible, and the current SS. I've never had them squeak like this, and every one of them (well, maybe not the IROC) was built better. Out of all of them, THE CONVERTIBLE had the least amount of squeaks, rattles, and road noise. I wish my 99 was built like that.

If you think that the convertable had the fewest squeeks, then maybe your other cars need SFCs.
(The convertable has some bracing, but can still benefit from an SFC.)

My car had what i thought was an interior squeek, but I have aftermarket LCA's and a panhard bar with polyurethane bushings, all i did was lubed em and the noise was cured.
