Default Lowering my car tomorrow looking for tips

Alright so I'm changing my front and back shocks and springs have all the tools needed just looking for tips or tricks to make it easier and for anythin tht is usually over looked

The back are really easy. The fronts can be a pain depending on how rusted the top nut is on the stock. If it's bad you're replacing them any way you can do like I did and save the time fighting with them just cut the shock shaft and pull it out.

The entire rear can be done in an hour or less

The fronts - since you have springs and shocks, go ahead and get uppers and the dogbone pieces and assemble them off the car. Then, its a matter of swapping assemblies, hour per side, tops

I'm going wit a coilover so all I need is the shock mount

Like bigJ said the front is going to be as hard as the top shock mount nut is to get off. that particular nut can and generally does get really rusty and can be a pain to get off. Some kind of penetrating lubricant will be your friend.

I got all the bolts off but I can't get the shock out of the car almost as if the shock is still holding it there

Ok got the shock out now how do I stop the shock shaft from spinning

Try a liberal helping of penetrating lube. If this doesn't work then thread the nut back on a little bit and then loosen the spring compressor and let the spring tension help push it off. Once it has come loose, apply the tension back to the spring compressor and you can remove the strut assembly.
