Dig run, 9 sec awd dsm vs built lsx 376ci 250 shot Maro Dunno the specs on the D.S.M (talon, eclipse, laser from the 90's for those of you that don't know) other that is a built 9 sec car and the Camaro has a built lsx 376ci 250shot, this was a rematch, the camaro did not have good tires before and did not like the lack of prep previously in "mexico".

God damn that talon moved out, wonder how many times can he launch like that before things start to pop?
And far as I can tell from the sound, the camaro still had traction issues through most of first.

Ouch, that was a well built DSM.
DSM sounded auto, so thousands of times before any issues. There are mid-low 8 second auto DSMs with hundreds of passes on their stock T-cases and axles (Jesse Abel and Jeff Bush).
With a manual tranny and slicks DSMs break stuff in the 10s, but it's due to wheel hop and driveline lash. The autos are very solid running 9s on mostly stock stuff.

wow that was a slaughter, and the camaro even had a good launch too. That camaro only stands a chance against him at a well prepped race track where he can put his power down.
I'd pay good money to ride in that DSM during one of those launches. A true once in a lifetime ride I bet.

That Talon hooked and booked for sure!
Still think they are ugly as hell though
