outer tie rod ends, best replacement?
I found out while getting new tires on my car that my tie rod ends (outer) are worn out and on their last leg. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best (affordable) replacement? Also how do you change them yourself? I got to save money considering the money I just dumped on new tires lol.
thanks

I personally like to use Moog stuuf, from the quick search I just did it looks like Moog part number ES3238RL would be a good option for you.

Moog!
Above will get one end off. The other you need to remove cotter pin, unscrew castle nut, then use a pickle fork, or smack with hammer to seperate.
At lease that is howmost tie rods are.

You can also count the amount of threads showing on the old tie rod and use that as a reference when installing new ones. This will allow you to put your alignment close to what it was before replacement.
