Default 1st gear fine,2nd gear fine,3rd gear breaking up

Motor is 441 lsx and car will go to 7000rpm in 1st and 2nd but when you shift to 3rd and it gets to 6000rpm it starts to break up.I`m confused! Car was fine on dyno but has new problem as of last week.
Engine specs:
13:1 comp
lsx/ls7 heads with comp 921`s
251/266 110 lsa 623 lift
TH400
BS3
5000 stall

It's breaking up in the higher gear because you are loading the engine more, it's in a different part of the map. Try scanning the engine while in third, and check the A/F with a wideband if possible.

What kind of fuel are you running, mine starts detonating after the shift to third and some to 4th when running 93.

You could look at fuel pressure during a run, since its breaking up on you the wideband will be useless. I am not really sure what to tell you man, hope you figure it out. I still got to test mine out again to see if its fixed. I put vp 109 in mine and it was better but it seemed like it still had that hesitation after shifting.

Good man, i thought about that at first for mine but just pushed that idea to the side. I got mine gapped at 60 on tr55's lol. Probably one issue for me.
