Default 02 ws6 lid- air hose plug

quick question. i just put a lid on my car, there was no fitting for the air hose on it. it was used. my question is, can i just plug the hose? or do i need it. i have read to put a breather filter on there until i delete the whole system, do i need the filter or can i just plug it until i delete it?

thanks in advance,
Bruce

You need to put a breather filter on it - or it'll throw secondary air code(s). Tie it off so it's not kinked either, or you'll get the same result.

You could always remove the AIR system. If you did that, you'd have the correct lid and wouldn't have to worry about the hose because it would be gone.
