Default difference b/w mini spool and full spool

So, my locker went out, I'm going to put a spool in instead of a normal locker. Its a weekend warrior and I don't mind chirping through turns (plus, cheaper the better). I've only seen one thing saying to go with a full spool instead of a mini, and couldn't find any information on why. Can anyone shine some light on this subject for me?

I have a shortened strange 12 bolt with 4.11 gears in an M6 for all who are curious. unfortunately I can't rememeber the sline off the top of my head (yes I know I will need this when ordering).

Thanks!

Default

well, i did some googling, now i'm not sure if I want to go with a spool. read some articles of people saying they break things with lockers on the street and yadda yadda. also learned that the mini spool is far weaker compared to the full spool.
