after header instalation?? resently just bought an 06 SAP pontiac GTO, recently put some kooks headers, come to find out after driving it a while the engine light comes on, so i get it checked at the local AUTOZONE and throwing the MAF sensor code??? any reason why?? and it runs HORIBLY!!
i know i need a tune n all for the upgrades but im sure it doesent effect to throw codes??

Check to make sure you didn't crack the temperature sensor in the D/S head. I believe it is also the ground for the MAF.
Like batboy says, it usually throws and O2, but shouldn't cause it to run like ****. Those lights just come on because it thinks your cats are failing.

i installed headers the other week on mine and its throwing about 4 codes from emissions crap. both o2's, mis-fire, and EGR. it runs shitty until about 2k then it is fine. im gettin it tuned this month for sure
