Default Would it even spool?

If I did put my s475 with a 1.32ar and 96mm turbine wheel in the rear of my GTO, would it even spool? Assuming a single 3" or dual 2 1/4" pipes to the tubine with exhaust wrapping and a blanket on the turbo? I really want to put it in front, but I'm not sure I can get a proper downpipe on it. If I did do a rear mount, I would try it without a quick spool valve first, since that thing is expensive as heck.

Concerning front mount. If I notched the frame and boxed it in, would the cars structure be maintained good enough?

The turbo is still brand new. I can sell it pretty easily I would think. If butt mount is the way I go, what would match up well to my engine?

410 correct? T4 PT88 .96 AR. Even then it would take a while longer than front mounted. ST80 Maybe a good choice for rear mount. Just know that unless you want a good bit of delay/lag you won't have near the rpm powerband you have now judging by the combo you have. Your on YB no?

Yes 410". Yeah, I'm on YB. My power peaks at 6700-6800 right now. I need to get with my fabricator and see if the frame can be notched enough to allow a big enough downpipe. I know people have put mid frame turbos in a GTO, but I'm not sure they put big enough downpipes in them. The outlet on this s475 is 5". I thought about trying to go from 5" round to 5" oval, then to dual 3" exhaust. If I had to, maybe do 4" oval past the frame rail if there isn't enough room with the notch. Twins would probably be easier and I wonder if I should just sell the s475 and get a couple of 60's or 65's. I know people say you have to buy two of everything, but if I have to pay labor to notch and box the frame, then that sort of negates that extra cost. I'm rambling and probably had too much vodka tonight, lol.

With your 410, I would go twins with atleast a pair of t4's pt6765 and if you have the extra fund, go with the billets.
