I just had a cam and head swap done, and now after finaily getting the correct length push rods in it, I'm still hearing like one lifter ticking. Is there any way the check for a bad one? or should I just assume that there is a bad one due the ticking sound and just repalce e'm all. I know, we should have upgraded them all while we were into it:bang: but they only had 30k on them. What should I put in it? LS7's? or is there something better?

I had a Caddy Lifter fail after 3,000 miles. I was able to find it by taking the valve covers off and I noticed one rocker wasn't set right anymore. I could put my finger between the rocker tip and retainer.

Yeah, sometimes hind sight is 20/20.Search on here, Morrels(sp?) are a popular choice, as are the LS7's you mentioned. There might just be some crap in there after the cam swap.
