I don't see monitor MID $07...

MID $0C is catalyst efficiency.

MID $0C TID $70 is catalyst efficiency bank 2.
MID $0C TID $60 is catalyst efficiency bank 1.

[ MID = monitor id; TID = test id; each monitor has several tests ]

Thanks! Now what would cause it to fail thousands of times?

Degraded catalyst efficiency... i.e. catalyst starts "passing thru", so rear O2 response is too quick wrt front O2.

Hopefully someone will chime in. You replied to a ten-year old thread.

You have a separate problem, you need to check for presence of fuel, spark and air and you need to see if the MAF, MAP, IAT andECT sensors are returning suitable signal values. Additionally you need to see if the CKP and CMP sensors are returning suitable matching signals. The GM service manual has a very good procedure for troubleshhoting no stsrt problems.

Also check that the exhaust is not clogged (i.e. catalysts causing blockage).
