Default parts for cam swap

I need a list of what's recommended to change and what needs to be changed. I know a ported oil pump and timing chain. And some gaskets. But what do you all consider a good list? Thanks!

Thanks for the list! Deciding if I'm going to do it now. Or later on this fall.

I really wanted to do a cam swap over the end of summer/early fall myself. I decided to hold off until April/early May. The thought of camming my WS6 and watching it sit in the garage over the Chicago winter didn't really appeal to me. Not that I wouldn't want to do it. It'd just kill me to see her in the garage under a car cover with a fresh new cam installed.

If you don't mind me asking, what cams are you looking at? What are the specs on your car?

Edit: Just noticed your located in Florida....Cam that bitch!

Mine is nothing special. I'm deciding on the ASA cam. Good numbers for a DD. I want something that sounds mean and doesn't beat my valvetrain to hell. Right now I'm putting on a set of Z06 heads. Long tubes and true duals. Not looking for a massive cam.

Yea. The parts you need add up pretty quick. $$$. I overshot my budget by a few hundred dollars. Just little odds and ends I would want done at the same time while a cam is getting done. Going to have mine done within the month, hopefully.

Don't forget pushrods and you might want to have some valve cover gaskets on hand just in case you need them.

Ill look at the links once I'm home. I'm more than likely changing those gaskets now. I'm spraying my covers a nice shiny red!
