Default Intake is on and !passenger side wire

Got the intake on and am partly through the passenger side wire delete. Broke the vacuum line that runs across over there at the connector so I need to go buy a new one.

anyway heres the pics:

The wire delete isn't done yet and my engine is dirty as hell so don't mind that

I really like how it looks on the car. I had corvette FRC's on it last year but I'm going to paint them to match so they're off for now.

that is the nicest looking intake I have seen, excellent color choice!

When you painted it, did you do anything else to get it ready for paint-or did you just go ahead an spray it?

My buddy prepped and painted it for me and posted what he did on another board I'll copy and paste what he said:

First I washed it with mineral spirits to remove the heavy crud, then i washed it with dish washing detergent, then laquer thinner, then a pre paint prep that you purchase at an autobody supply store. After its all clean you sand it with 220 or even 60 then 80,100 and up to the 220 depending on how many of the factory defects you want out of it. I used a heavy build primer and sanded it with 220 then primed it again and sanded it with 400. After all of that your ready to either seal it or just paint it. its a lot cheaper on a small projects to use a rattle can unless you own or work at a body shop. On larger jobs I alway use a spay gun and a quality auto body paint such as PPG, Dupont or even Sherwin Williams has a great car paint line.

Thanks for the compliments I'm really happy with it.

That looks really nice. Those are the glossiest inner fenders I've seen on a fourth-gen. Have they been repainted?

The inner fenders are stock and actually look terrible right now. I don't think they have ever been this dirty since I bought the car. I've been meaning to work on it all winter so I haven't put my cover on it and it's collected A LOT of dust. The only thing thats on them is about 6 layers of Zaino, soon to be replaced with Tropi-Care.

Thanks for all the compliments guys I really like the way it turned out.
