Default My car has issues

The motor specs are in my sig.

Here is my issue:

The motor had running great no problems with performance. After the tornado outbreak back in April, I filled it up at the gas station I always do but they had just got their power back after almost a week. Still no problems so I go to dinner. As I leave the restaurant and it starts sputtering and acting like it wants to just die on me so I pull over to check it out and it dies. I try to start it and it fires for a half second then dies again. I had to have a friend with a trailer to come pick me up.

Disgusted, I leave it in the garage for 2 months.

So I go back out to see if it will start. Starts with no problem runs great, I go out for a drive and it starts sputtering and wanting to die, then it clears up again and drives fine.So I drive it around to see if I can make it sputter on purpose and it seemed to act up with load changes (like going up or down a hill). At this point I'm thinking water or contaminants in the fuel so I put a fuel pressure gauge/bleeder on it. Great fuel pressure and no water in the fuel.

It's almost like a sensor is trying to compensate for something because the spark is good and so is the fuel.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Maybe the fuel filter is dirty, have you checked that?

I replaced it when I put the engine in, probably doesn't have 20k on it.

One bad batch of fuel can take out the fuel filter even if it is brand new.

I know that it can happen, but I didn't think it cause fluctuations like that. If it was just a clogged up or really dirty filter seems like the problem would be more constant. I'll check it out though.
