"GMEATR" 5.0 had a little too much on his plate

"GMEATR" 5.0 had a little too much on his plate I love when people call out a whole brand of cars with a stockish car. Unless you have a Super Snake, ZR1, or ******* Veyron, its you're going to need a little more than just a few bolt-ons to safely call out a whole brand of cars.
I decided to wake my Z06 up from sleeping in the garage this morning to drive to my classes. I'm trying to drive it as much as possible before the snow comes. I get out of class around 10 this morning. On my way home, theres a grabber blue Mustang up ahead.
I've been dying to get a race in with a 03/04 Cobra or new GT500. I get a little closer.... And its a newer mustang. Great, I'm cruising at around 65mph. His license plate stood out a little "GMEATR". I could tell it wasnt stock. It wasnt obnoxious, but it definately had an aftermarket exhaust. I get along side, and see the 5.0 badge.
Usually I'm not the one to provoke a race, but this guy had it coming. I was going to see what "GMEATR" was capable of.
I get up next to him and match his speed. He's doing 55. He speeds up a little... And so do I. I stay next to him.. By this time, were doing 65, IDK if he sped up to benefit himself, or if he was a little scared.
He downshifts, and takes off. I drop it into 3rd and begin persuit. It didnt take long for him to be in the rear view. We both slow back down. about 30 seconds later, he's about 1-2 cars back, and punches it. When he's up to my door, I notice what he's doing, and stop his pull and begin to move out once again.
That was the end of that... The nitrous wasnt hooked up, but if it was... I would have sprayed on him just for the simople fact of having that license plate.
I was happy with the results. Hopefully that inspires him to do some more stuff to his car to make it harder on the next guy.

Good job putting him in his place, and I totally agree with your take on having a plate like that: you had best be running at least low 11's before you start that kind of smack.

my cobalt says MBARE S U.
probably makes some people angry but its shows my sense of humor (along with the SLOBALT emblem) and is meant to poke fun at people who get to cocky about their 14 second ride
camaro says JST TRY 2......im sure im just askin for it. sadly, no one ever tries

Good Kill! Just hope he doesn't slap on a blower to that thing
On a side note, I've always wondered why the Honda locals around here with NA motors badge on different license plates and are under the impression they can beat most "muscle cars". Doesn't seem to be going too well for them lol

Since I have a 2006 z06 and a 2012 Mustang GT I was thinking of getting plates that match ripping on each other. I think I'm just going to get plate frames saying "my other ride is a corvette" for the 5.0 and "my other ride is a mustang" for the vette.

There are a few vetts that have plates around us. Only one that isnt fast is a C4. His plate reads U failed. I ran him and smoked the **** out him. He came up while i was talking to the president of teh Vette club and asked if I was SC..
One C6Z reads BLOWBYU it is N/A and makes over 600whp used t o read GT00HAHA
Another reads UTRIED it is procharged and makes like 800whp
A TT C6Z around us reads BYE BYE..Last word was it made like 1100whp. built by LMR
And the list goes on.
And a guy with a new M3 reads C U LATR..I spanked this guy at the track and on the street with my G8..haha
oh and the guy with the new SS that reads GTETR but will never run it. SC/H/C/I 660whp. Yet has been called out a few times. Still no runs.

I don't know, you ran some better times then some v8 fbodies and mustangs at the strip so I think the plate has some relevance.Good kill OP, it must feel satisfying to say the least. If it weren't for that plate it would just be another puppy kicking not worth talking about. I know I'd be happy with it if I ran a guy with that plate.

Mine read UD LUZE it got a few races but scared off a few also. I mainly got it because I just don't want to instigate races, always been that way. I'd much rather the other guy try me. Dunno why I've been that way. I also have a bad habbit of letting the other guy get the hit unless its something that was setup.

Mine read UD LUZE it got a few races but scared off a few also. I mainly got it because I just don't want to instigate races, always been that way. I'd much rather the other guy try me. Dunno why I've been that way. I also have a bad habbit of letting the other guy get the hit unless its something that was setup.

I'm the same way. Probably cuz I hate looking stupid when you rev at someone and than they look at you like WTF does that mean lol. I only give somebody the hit if I know im going to kill it so they think they are gonna win and you come flying by them. There was a guy in my town with a "built" el camino that was cocky with me and I let him get like 4 cars on me before I actually got on it...
Then there was a white 05+ 3v GT with a highschool kid and his gf. Flew up on my 95 again (again in 328rwhp mode). We didn't honk it off but I pulled him good.
Hell most all of my kills are Mustangs.
I NEVER run into a GM, I guess good thing.

The 2 funniest kills I ever had was with my 328rwhp 5.0 (HCI). One was a yellow 01-04 Mustang GT. He flew along side me with his gf video taping. He honked 3 times from a 45mph roll and I walked the **** out of him. He then came back telling me to slow down to like 20mph in a 50 zone. He honked it off and it was worse for him.
Then there was a white 05+ 3v GT with a highschool kid and his gf. Flew up on my 95 again (again in 328rwhp mode). We didn't honk it off but I pulled him good.
Hell most all of my kills are Mustangs. I NEVER run into a GM, I guess good thing.
