That was an interesting mix of cars with a unsuspecting result but the finishing order more or less went as one would think.

They had monitoring equipement in each vehicle. That is a very realistic time on street tires for the Z06. I've driven a couple of 2010 GTR's one with a few bolt-ons and one was stock, I can tell you for a fact from a dead stop a stock Z06 on street tires will get ass-raped.

z06 is a high 11 car?In those air/track surface conditions with their drivers I suppose it is.
In my world though (ie: a real, legitimate drag strip with a skilled driver) it's still a 10.9 - 11.1 second car. :)

Don't forget perfect weather conditions like -1,000+ ft Density Altitude.

Don't forget perfect weather conditions like -1,000+ ft Density Altitude.True...though I believe the range of ETs I referenced were achieved at roughly 200 to -500 feet DA. Better air actually helps lessen traction on stock tires.

Damn, another 1/2 mile and the GTR is in 5th-6th. Gotta love hard launches.

I love the sounds all of those cars make together. A symphony of awesome I'd like to call it.

The race i had against a '10 GTR was disgraceful from a dig :( he absolutely raped me. From a roll it was a drivers race. The GTR's are no joke but look at the cost's of the cars in that vid. That Italia exhaust note makes my dick hard.

How many real life races are done in the full mile? Makes you think....

How many real life races are done in the full mile? Makes you think....True.
But by the same token, how many races (on the street) are from a dead dig for an exact 1/4 mile as well? Makes you think.... ;)

From a highway roll (which I personally don't care for but so many others seem to) that race would've been all 458.

Actually the results I want are 30-120mph times, and we probably do cover about a mile at that speed.

No ZR1?
It wouldn't be that much quicker, but it is a better match up for the 458 and others.

being a nissan tech and working on the gtr's you just have to drive one to understand.

if they had a zr1 then people would bitch about well if the zr1 had tires it would have won, cant please everyone.

I would wager that most of those cars could cover that spead in less than a 1/4 mile ;)
