Default TF215 with TR224?

Anyone run this combo? I have been searching and haven't came by one yet. I would like to try this and then if I need more, install another cam.

Thanks

I think you'll want more cam.....while I loved my TR224, I don't like that it is out of power in the mid 5s. I want something that is going to pull to redline and not flatline. It is a great DD cam, but it leaves something on the table when it's a weekend toy and you are wanting to shift at 6k+.

Perhaps it will with aftermarket heads, with stock heads, not so much. You have a dyno graph of yours?

I didn't dyno it cuz I had a jacked mail order tune, but the guy I sold it to got a dyno tune by ForceFed Performance. He said it made 432rwhp unlocked 450rwhp locked. Combo was 99SS A4 Yank 3600SS TR224/114, AFR 205cc milled for around 10.8-11.0 CR, FAST 78mm Intake W/Ported stock TB, TSP lid WS6 lower airbox matched to a opened up Ultra Z hood and direct ram air, Grotoyan LT headers, 3" catted Y>3.5" FM merge> 3.5">3" venturi reducer into a Borla 3" cat back. Pulled hard into every shift and never felt like it was falling off!

I think he was asking about a TR 224 and TFS 215 heads, those are aftermarket Heads right? Big cam+shitty heads= or great heads+good cam=

appreciate the info. Thinking about getting me some afr 205s to run in a similar combo but with a 6.0 in my truck. Like how you had your exhaust set up. Also very similar to what i got. Thanx, rob.
