Default LS1 Swap

Hello there, I am planning on buying a 98-02 V6 Camaro shell and swapping an LS1 w/ M6 tranny. My question is: Exactly what parts do I need to do the complete and safe swap, and how much would it come out to(I will be doing the work)?

Thanks for the help ladies and gents.

Do a search, there numerous threads of people who have done the same thing. "the merv" has some really good threads...probably a good place to start

Grab a crashed camaro or t/a and swap everything to the camaro, price depends on what deals you can find...and how much you want to spend. Easier thing to do is just get a car that already has an ls1 though...

Yea, if I can find an LS1 Camaro or TA for around $4k then it wouldn't be worth doing a swap.
