New and tryin to get some info on these engines. Hi everyone,
As the title pretty much states, I signed up to hopefully get a good base understanding of these engines (mainly the lt1) for a swap into my 1991 Jeep Cherokee. I've been following a thread on NAXJA where a member crammed a '03 5.3L into his XJ, however where I live either these engines don't exist or are made of platinum. However, LT1's pop up frequently here, and I've spent the last couple of days trying to get as much info on these motors as possible. I was just wanting to see what you all thought of the LT1, and while I know the LS1 is more advanced and what not and many of you will chime in on it's greatness, keep in mind my LS1-less situation. I hope to learn as much as possible on this forum, and hopefully soon I can start to post progress on my swap (whenever I am able to get around to it).
