Default sts and keeping catabck?

i am looking into an sts kit, would i have to get rid of my gmmg :confused. ive read that with some fab work i wont need to. my question is it worth keep the catback? what kind of fab work will need done? ive searched for pictures of fab work with keeping exhaust and havent been able to find any.

your aware that the exhaust feeds the sts system, and that your gmmg probably has totally different routing than what the squire system puts the turbo and the feed pipes to it. You could cut your gmmg into the same sized pieces as the squire kit and then make it fit to work the way it needs to. Most sts kits I have seen have the downpipe coming right out where the tail pipe used to be, so don't see how you'd be able to keep it unless you like I said cut it into the pieces needed.

The turbo mounts right where the muffler once was. I planed on cutting a muffler in half and fitting it around the turbo to hide it.

sounds like it might work then. I was envisioning the charge piping might get in the way, but I guess it could be routed around the other way from it.

i have a rearmount with a magnaflow bullet muffler and cutout... its a clean set up.
