Default 99 Z28 "stock" ls1 +76mm A2W ebay build

Thought I'd start off by posting up my most recent project. Its a 1999 Z28. Car will weigh right around 3200 lbs with a 160lb driver. Going with a 76mm A2W intercooled setup on a "stock" ls1. The car currently has a Coan th-400 with trans brake, Coan 3800 stall, and a moser 12 bolt with 35 spline axles/spool and 4.10 gears. I'm going to be swapping those out in favor of some 3.42 or 3.23's in the near future, 275 DR. Plans for the power plant!:

Stock Bottom end
arp rod bolts
stock 853 heads/PRC valve springs
Truck manifold hotside 2.5" crossover
T4 76mm turbo(on3perf. ebay special)
44mm WG (X02 ebay special)
50mm BOV (RPS)
3" down pipe
Ls6 intake
60# injectors

Plans are for around 13psi (tial blue spring) on race gas and possibly methanol injection (to compensate for the stock 10:1 compression)

Pics to come! Any comments or concerns please feel free to post up!

for $338 shipped for a 76mm, i dont expect it to be as good as the name brand stuff, or even master power, but heck i havent heard anything negative on the on3 stuff thus far, so we'll just have to wait and see. If it ***** out on me and takes everything with it, i wont be THAT upset, as i have as much in the setup as i sold my Kook's LT's for.

I've heard nothing but good things about the on3 turbo's, i'll be putting two of those on3 76's on a stock bottom 5.3 to get my car together faster. I'll let everyone know how it goes when it all comes together, and then whenever I build a motor for it, i'll swap some better turbo's on with it so I don't chance hurting the good motor with cheap turbo's if they came apart.

Yeah, I don't want to put expensive turbo's on a stock motor and chance hurting them if the motor goes, and vice versa. So at $300 a pop, it's worth it to just throw the ebay ones on and swap 'em later.

Lmk how the turbo works. I almost bought a on3 turbo kit when my mustang was 5.0 but went with a 6.0 lsx. I plan on buying that t76 from on3 also for my swap. Heard nothing but good things from these turbos.

Hey man, I recognize your signature pic from horsepowerjunkies.

I have been lurking around on here doing some research for a little while now. May have a turbo LSX project in the works sometime in the near future. It would be the first time ever really messing with these engines so I am trying to learn some stuff about them. I will be checking out this thread to see what you got going on.

My thought is to throw some cheap turbos on there for now...worst case they go and I am out a $200 junkyard motor. Since mine is a swapped car, I really wanted to work out all the kinks in my build before throwing in an expensive motor and turbos. Got a buddy who is doing the same. He wants to make sure the LSX swap is going to work out well in his application (roadrace) before throwing a ton of money into it. He is also going with a junkyard motor and an ebay turbo.

Are those actual measurements? Apparently a lot of the ebay turbos are different compaired to advertised. I may buy another one for my car.

the 76mm journal bearing one only comes in .68 or .81, ball bearing is another story, but they are almost $700 bucks, and if i was going to drop that kinda money i would just spend another $150 and get a TC78

i asked them if they had anything bigger, they said no. I only know what I'm told directly from them.
