possible bad converter?
I bought my 95 camaro about 9 months ago, the guy I bought the car from told me the trans was relatively fresh, after looking the car over it seemed to check out. The fluid was clean, didn't smell burned and the car drove fine. Over the last few days, I've been having an issue with the converter seeming to slip for just a second before the car starts to really go. It only happens on a cold start up though. The torque converter has also always seemed a little loose to me. Anyway I just bought an ss3600, and don't want to install it just for the trans to die on me. Any thoughts?

Why dont you give me a call. I dont mind helping you understand whats going on. I wouldnt mind looking at the car for you either, I see you are in the D/FW area. My shop is in Garland, if you would like to bring it by I can diagnose it for you and help you determine the best course of action.
