Default My bird rebuild/project

Welp I picked up a 95 ta last week. As she sits it has 17" corvette rims 383 stroker(have receipts for the build from old owner), lowered 2 " on eibach springs full slp loud mouth exhaust, and a ram air hood. It's a t top 6 spd car which Im loving that.
SO far my plans are to fix the headlight motors with new metal gears, install a new window regulator for the passenger side as it's pretty weak, new windshield as it's cracked, needs a paint job pretty bad, and get a new front bumper as it's torn.
I also found a zex nitrous kit complete for about $200 so ima prolly pick that up it has 75 shot jets so nothing major.
More pics and info when work gets going.

Ok guys work got started today. I removed the headlight motors and the brackets holding them in. The brackets were rusted and just looked like crap. So I media blasted them and will be powder coating them in the next day or so(just gotta decide high gloss black or semi gloss black. Also when I removed the headlight motors the end caps just fell off(the ones you have to pry off to replace the gears. The gears actually look ok so I wonder if they are ok. I'll prolly still just get new ones though.

Very cool. I had a black '95 T/A once, 6 speed, too. A good year for the LT1 cars, imo. Year of the Comp T/A, vented Optispark, last year of OBD1 (helpful if you live in CA) The LT1 is a good engine, it just got a short life due to the LS engine quickly replacing it.
