I知 thinking about running a single turbo on my chevelle project that I知 doing. I have seen some people run stock truck manifolds turn upside down. I installed the left one and it hits the steering shaft at the bell looking thing. what can I do with this?

looks like a little work with a grinder will take care of it. the engine torques in the other direction. and you can do this to make it look cleaner.

I should have taken a different view that showed it hitting. This does not show it that bad but the wheel is not turn

Try mounting them so that the collectors are aiming down instead of up.

Would there be any reason you could not reposition the column on the firewall? My thought is a piece of 14 gauge steel cut to cover the factory opening, and drill out the center for the column to fit through. cut it in half, so the hole for the column is also cut in half. Bolt the column to the plate, now, move the column and plate assembly down, and towards the frame and mark holes from the fire wall to the plate and remount it.
