Default army DITY move: how to move 5 cars??

Husband and I are doing a DITY move beginning of October to go back to MD from Ft. Campbell (ETS). We have 5 cars - my 02 bird, my 00 ws6, 00 formula, 3rd gen camaro and DD 07 Malibu. He's driving the formula and i'm driving my bird, the moving company drives their own truck to our house with our belongings. ws6 has to be trailered because it's under construction and while it could probably make it, it wouldn't be the best idea to make the 12 hour drive home to MD. That leaves 3 cars to be trailered. Question is, have any of you used a company to trailer cars home for a DITY and does the army reimburse? Any advice is helpful.

Think they will only pay to move two, the rest are on you. Atleast that is how the AF does it

you're on your own...got a friend with a rock crawler jeep?? they usually have big diesel trucks and trailers for two to three cars...

I put my rides in storage...and came back with a uhaul truck for the parts and tow one car...and used the wife's truck to tow another ride...

Scratch that, make it 4 cars. We just sold the z28 camaro.
wyome, the problem with asking friends, is we have to get them either to us in kentucky if they are friends in maryland, or back to kentucky if they drove to maryland for us.
i looked into car shipping services, rather expensive. However, I am currently looking into military transports - Military Auto Transport and AA Automovers to see what they offer.

Rent a truck & buy a trailer. (Will cost as much as renting one) and you can sell it when you get there.

Alternatively, a one way ticket or two and a second trip.

We've researched a lot and figured out our plan: we've bought a trailer from a friend so the trailer is our property, thus counts for credit. Moving truck + trailer with WS6, and driving firebird to Maryland. Bought plane tickets ($59 each for one way through southwest with military discount) and driving formula and Malibu back. Done deal, and for cheap. Think this will work. Guess we'll find it in a little under 2 weeks.
