Will Motive Power Bleeder get air out of master cylinder?

Will Motive Power Bleeder get air out of master cylinder?
So I replaced my brake lines a few months ago. I bled the brakes probably 6-9 times but still got bubbles every time and the pedal is very soft. There are no visible leaks anywhere.
So I bought the Motive Power Bleeder thinking it might help, but I still have the same issue. The only thing I can think of is maybe I ran the MC dry at some point without realizing it, but since the Power Bleeder bleeds from the top, doesn't it bleed the MC? I figured I wouldn't need to bench bleed the MC since the power bleeder does the same thing, but maybe I am wrong.
So any help?

It's been a long time since I've changed a MC, but if I recall correctly, you have to "bench bleed" it by itself, cycling the piston to push fluid through the cavities first, before you put it on the car. Running an "in place" MC dry, especially if you had someone pumping the pedal while you opened the bleed screws, I think, would create air in these cavities.
The power bleeder doesn't "stroke" the piston in the MC, so I think you need to remove it, bench bleed it, then put it back on the car and power bleed the system.

Well I tightened a couple fittings that looked like they might have had a little fluid around them, and bled again and again and again. Still a **** load of bubbles! I really don't think I ran my MC dry at any time but I'm at a loss here. Since I replaced all the calipers at the same time, is there a chance there could be an issue with one of the calipers?

I had a spongy pedal for months (after dropping the k member). After trying several full system old school bleeds I went to a mighty vac and problem solved.
