Default 370ci / PT7875 / 4L80e / Stock Heads / 706rwhp / E85

Well I finally got the car to the dyno, and I'm pretty stoked with the numbers. The car put down just over 700rwhp through an unlocked 4L80e at about 19.5 psi on E85.

Motor is a 370 with untouched 317 heads, Scat rods, Diamond pistons, LS6 cam, Patriot dual springs, Bosch 160lb injectors with Versafueler and twin Walbros. Trans is a home built 4L80e with a Yank 3600 stall (which will need to be tightened up with the newfound power, haha)

First pull was about 570rwhp on 14.5 psi. Ended up at 706rwhp on 19.5 psi. 20* timing. Made peak power at 6100. This was on a Mustang dyno that is notoriously low. For example, my buddy's track car is about 2800lbs race weight and dynos 800awhp and goes 167mph. I'm hoping for 145 in my 4200lb pig. I went 136mph on 550rwhp through the auto.

Scanner is on the fritz, I'll upload the dyno graph later Fixed. We also "dragged" the car on the dyno for the hell of it, lol. It ran a 6.1 @ 115 and a 9.66 letting out at the 1000 because I'm out of gear. Got my 28" tires coming. If I can run 9s and 140+ at the ACTUAL track, I'll be thrilled.

Thanks to a ton of help from the forum and to NicD for some injector help

About time you got some results! Why does it look like it doesn't hit full boost until 6000 rpm?

I dyno with the converter unlocked so the converter flashes to about 5500. It hits full boost very quickly.

Congrats on the results.

Which yank 3600 stall do you have ? also how much are you going to tighten it up .

What's the difference between "9.66 letting out at the 1000" and "9s and 140+ at the ACTUAL track"????

Those times are off of the dyno drag pass, not the physical track.

I know so you need to account for track conditions, weather, and whether or not the car can put the power to the ground.

Hence why I said if I can go 9s and 140 on the track, I'll be thrilled, lol.

I think you'll hit that easy. You've got the motor, power and turbo to go bottom 9's even at your weight.

Bottom nines and I'll poop myself, haha. Might be able to get out for test and tune next Sunday. I'm not going to get many chances though before getting thrown out, no cage.

I haven't fitted the 28s yet. I'm going to just see how it goes once I get them mounted. I'm not too worried about it. At worst I'll have to make some shock relocators and get out a 3lb sledge... haha. I ordered M&H radials because I want a good street tire. They should hook better than my 26" MT radials do on the street and the track. Best short time with the 26" MTs was 1.61. I can launch on boost now so if it hooks it should go down a good amount.

It will go if you push it to that. That turbo comes alive around 14-15 psi.
