Default Nitrous with fast Intake??

Im curious if i should be worried about spraying with a fast intake. Should i do the burst discs? Should i buy a metal intake?

I am only planning on spraying 150 max. Also what would be my best bet to avoid any puddling and backfires....new kit i would assume.

Thnaks and i know this is a very novice question/post. I did a quick search and i dont wanna piece together info from 10 different posts.

Thanks.

just make sure to tune it according to the shot and the reccomended jets are a starting point not gospel most tell you to adjust fuel up or down

Some saying FAST is not the right intake for nitrous but they tell you that cause when you have a back fire you will say bye to your plastic intake !!!

Back fire is something you should try to avoid all time with any intake setup , not to lower the cost of damaged parts when it happens

No you shouldn't be worried spraying with a FAST intake. Many people have done 320-550 on FAST intakes. It takes allot of research and time tho. Creep up on it, keep timing low and plugs clean.

Take all the proper precautions and work your way up like Carter01 said and you should have no problems. The FAST intake is more than capable of handling nitrous!

Ok guys. Thanks for the info. Is there a general consensus on the best kit, or best solenoids? NX vs NOS? This is going to be a very temporary set up as i just wanna dip into the 9s. I have full intentions of building a turbo kit for the car this winter. The car went 10.49 on the motor and i really think a 100 hit will get it in the 9s. Ideally i will spray it one pass and be done with nitrous.

I personally like the Nitrous Outlet plate kit. That's what I have and it's been great.

There are alot of Fast intakes been feed with nitrous in the LSX market. They work well with nitrous. Its a waste of money to put the blow off disc in a plastic intake, so dont do that. The key is to use the right product, needed accessories, and correctly tune.

You should look into the Nitrous Outlet product line if you want the best.

If I can be of any help please shoot me a pm.
Dave
