Default Replacement Power Antennae

Where can I get a new power antennae? The drive cable on my power antenna snapped.

Any stereo shop or even auto parts store - they're pretty standard items although a black one can be harder to find than a chrome one. If you want an exact fit using the original brackets you will have to get a GM original part (part # 10402860 - $66.90 at gmpartsdirect)

You can get the original GM unit from www.gmpartsdirect.com for $70 or go to the dealer and pay $140. Here is the PartNumber: 10402859.

Here is a write-up on how to install it:

(Note: This was installation on a Camaro, which doesnt come with power antennae stock. Therefore, you can skip some of the steps.)

(although my parts book said 10402860 rather than 10402859)

Sorry for the echo. I guess I didn't see that part of your post. I don't know whats up with the different part numbers. Maybe yours is a later revision.

I just did a search on GMPartsDirect. Yours is cheaper by a couple dollars but no image is shown.
