I bought mine from a company out here in Houston called the hid factory. They ship too. So far I've had them for 2 years with no problems. They are super easy to install, especially in a camaro. I'd look them up on Google and check them out. I'd post a link, but they're not a sponsor.

Do a search on previous threads hids. I promise you ll get info than you asked for your original post.

1 thing I would say is that before you order HIDs check if you want to get projectors so you can get a nice beam pattern out of HIDs.
Two sponsors on this site are working on new housings with projectors.
The reason I say this is projectors don't use 9006 bulb, so if you go that route you 'd need new bulb. Just as a FYI

All Hids are made in china so any kit you get under $100 is the same quality.

Ddm was a great vendor but lately their products and service are questionable.
There is also a class action lawsuit against them.

I ll be switching to the brand xentec on eBay after i saw my lights compared to my neighbors.

i got mine through a local shop here in Atlanta, called dynamic car audio, they may ship.. for my fogs and low beams it was 110 and a 2 year warranty.. the only thing i needed was a relay for the fogs. but i love the 6k and 4k combo...my night/rain visibility is great

Try checking out theretrofitsource dot com, the have some nice kits if you want to do projectors or just hids, imo i would spend the extra money and time and put projectors in your housings, you get way better output

Ddm still sells kits however like others said they can take up to 3 weeks on an order and their customer service does not respond to emails.

They were being sued for sending out the wrong color hid bulbs, they were sending out 6k color instead of 8k

I didn't like dealing with eBay so I went to ddmtuning but as stated earlier everything comes from china

Pro: mine have lasted 4 years problem free, though the bulbs got slightly dimmer after year 2.

You need to adjust your headlights after you buy them. They are alot brighter and need to be aimed properly otherwise you risk blinding people and getting a tocket

As far as voltage though they draw less current and are as easy as installing a new light bulb. Just be sure to install the headlight harness backwards to the ballast or they won't turn on

Are there any HID's that do not have the blue tint to them but are more pure white? I like the hawks third gen kit but dont really like the blue tint.
