How to "bench" bleed MC on car
So the next step in my brake bleeding nightmare is to bleed the MC. I don't want to remove it, so I'm going to bleed it on the car. I bought the Dorman 13911 MC bleeding kit with the fittings and line.
So basically all I do is install the fittings and line, route the line back into the reservoir, and have someone push the brake pedal or is there another way to push the cylinder? Also, this writeup I'm reading says to pinch the lines when you let the pressure off the cylinder. Is this necessary? Is there any benefit to routing the lines back to the reservoir versus into a separate container with fluid?
Thanks.

Advantage is it's easy to route the hoses to the master's reservoir.
You can try to pinch the lines off on the return stroke, some bleed faster/more thoughly with that method.
It sounds like a 2 person operation though.
