Thank you. I went out there expecting to get my butt kicked, but instead I made it interesting. Actually, the Mustang driver wasn't shifting very well, so he is the one who made it close...lol.

A stock Mach 1 my car might actually be able to take, that would be a driver's race, and close no matter what. A 2011 5.0 by all right should kick my ***, but didn't.

No way this should happen, but where I live most people don't even know how to drive stick and if they do they're terrible. Props for taking down a 5.0

The new 5.0's are bad ***, im full bolt ons and barely able to pull on a stock one. Ford did good finally with this N/A motor.

If you notice the guy in the auto ls1 wasn't driving it even close to it's full potental either... Letting it downshift on a roll race is like waiting after the honk to put the car in gear in a manual. No offense to the OP

I had breakfast, lunch, and then dinner between all of those shifts. He did get faster throughout the video, but his shifting was still slow as hell.

Since this race I have messed around with the auto putting it in 1st and launching it from 25MPH, it pulls a LOT harder, there is no delay and waiting for the car to downshift then launch. I think had I put the car in 1st and just manually shifted it to 2nd and D, that I might have been able to take him in the roll races. Still would have been close though.
