Can't seem to find any other posts here.
So I'm thinking of building a 383 sbc, I currently run a 355 10:1, comp 286 hyd flat tap, sportsman 11 heads ported, 4.10 gear, 400 trans 4500 stall, car runs 12.1 1/4.
I'm looking to run a 11.5 with the 383 for starters then when I upgrade the heads and cam run 10.90 1/4

heres what I have in mind
383 10.8:1 compression, 260/260 @.50 dur .555/.555 lift mechanical flat. rest is the same.
then after the cage
change to a good aluminum head and a roller cam 250 @.50 and .630 lift

does this sound right or am I off on the cam.

car weighs 3600 with me in it

thanks
