we are doing a ground up resto on a 84 chevy, has 12 inch lift, all new body parts and looking for stainless headers for the swap the ls1 is sitting nicely in the engine compatment but is lacking headers due too not being able to find them! we are looking for stainless 1 7/8 primary 3.5 or so collector! thanks much we will make due with what is available if we need but would like similar to the measurements above thanks much!

You could always use a set of shorties or mid length as well.

Being a older truck. You have more than enough space to try any header.. but like any application. you want something that well tuck in well and not hang to low.

It seem that F-Body's are always a good start to try as 83 silverado stated.

You can always take a BBC header for your year / model, cut the flanges off and weld on new LSx ones (from GM), minor Tube adjustements if any.

with the old sbc engines on those trucks ive used almost any Small block header, from 69 to 74 Nova to 86 Monte headers, they all fit. im sure the Doug swap headers that i have on my Nova would fit too for you.
