1000hp kenne bell ls3 for rpo Just found this article yesterday. Anyone know more about it? They punched it out to a 427 but dont say anything about gm's claim that the cylinder walls would be too thin. I want to do pretty much the same thing, but I want to start out with the most displacement I can, reasonably.

Actually it just says its stroked. What my real question is what is the largest ls engine I can go with and blow it safely at around 1000hp. I just saw a thread somewhere with a blown 485 in an ugly "rat rod" 5th gen camaro...
