And their sales department. Recently I purchased a set of ARP head bolts from them. Prior to the sale of the item I was informed the bolts were on back order and my account would not be charged until they had received the bolts and were ready to ship. Sure enough they stayed true to their word and even kept me posted via email on updates during the process. Like most members on I've dealt with shops or stores that take your money and leave you hanging for weeks waiting on a purchase. It's great to experience pinnacle customer service from a sponsor on the boards. Thanks once again!

You are one of the few that has gotten good service lately. My boss ordered over $2,000 from them and was told everything was in stock and would be shipped asap. Almost 2 weeks later we got a phone call saying that the heads were backordered and we could upgrade to a more expensive head, and were waiting on cam, lifters and a few other parts. At a month some of the parts showed up and the pistons were wrong. I was disappointed as there service used to be much better.

I've always and only delt with Shane over at Thunder....he's an excellent rep and true to his word...always whiling to take that little extra step to see things go smoothly and without a hiccup...didnt matter if I was spending $40 or $4,000..always got the same reelect and common curtosy(sp?)
Not to mention it's prolly the only place I've been able to order a BMR tubular K-member for $5 as well......lol

I have also dealt with Thunder Racing.
Most EVERY mod I have, has been ordered from them.
Shane is great! and the delivery was NEXT DAY for a ground item (in stock).

not trying to give negative feedback but i ordered a set of wheel studs and they did send me a backorder email but its been more than 10 days. I understand arp takes a while. but i really do hope i get them soon!!! :(

I ordered a set of coil relocate plug wires from them over a month ago they were too also back ordered but they stopped responding to my emails i always heard good things about them i'm going to stay positive though theres not many more small companies out there

I want to thank all of you for your feedback, both positive AND negative. I have been involved in this business now for more than 20 years first as a customer/part time mechanic then as a professional tech/salesperson and now as an owner and director of operations. I have been on both sides of the counter. I remember exactly what it's like to place an order with someone, give them your hard earned money, and trust that it's all going to be done right. I've had both great experiences and horrible ones. What it all boils down to is this: How was the mistake handled? Did you get taken care of in the end?
We're not the biggest vendor here, nor are we the smallest. What I will tell you is, I can guarentee you will get the best tech support and the most knowledgeable staff in the industry. You will get honest answers as to which products work and which don't. I will NOT sell something just because I have 10 of them on the shelf. You will find on most calls my guys will try NOT to sell you something. I want long term customers who know we are here to make their cars(babies) go fast, sound good, look good, or all of the above.
Lord knows, I'm not in this business for the money! LOL... We are here because we love this hobby, we all love what we do. Sometimes when times are tough and you're working with a skeleton crew and limited resources, mistakes happen.
I'm here to tell you. If you have a problem with my company, please bring it to my attention. I promise I WILL make it right. If I don't know about an issue, I don't have a chance to make it right. Whether it's working with you to correct the mistake or giving you a refund; in the end, I want a happy customer.

Another great experience today. Seems my block used two different style of head bolts within the same year for my block. The staff helped out with that information, gave great advice, and the new correct bolts have been ordered. As for the bolts, they provided an RMA for the return and I'll be shipping them back tomorrow. Likely the easy trouble free transaction and return I've ever had. Thanks!
