Hey yall. I have a 2000 LS1 Trans Am M6. tripple black. all stock besides, SLP lid, stereo and HID headlights. Been looking for all myt parts here in the classifieds so i can get my horsepower on. I am looking to do a Torquer V3 cam (Texas Speed), Ls6 intake, long tubes, y pipe, Magnaflow exhaust, and a set of heads if i can afford. it. I started thiking i could do this on a budget then found out otherwise, lol. I have been talking to Ellis form Speed secrets here localy. I have about 2500 to spend, but that will only buy the parts it seems. I still have to come up with another 1500 for labor to install the parts. I even thought about buying another motor and just paying labor for the swap since it has to come out the bottom and i dont have a lift. just seems that there is no reasonable solution... almost seems like for what it will cost for a cam and head swap with supporting mods, i migght as well build a 402 or 427 and go from there.....
