Smoothed underside of hatch
Used bondo and bondo glass to fill holes left by the plastic pieces to give it a 'stamped' look. sprayed with a satin 'trim paint' in a can; love it because it wont tiger stripe no matter how much is put on, (though doesnt like a high impact zone like front bumpers; chips off). Third brake light wire was hidden and ran through the hatch panels.
more detail / info and many process pics in similar thread in paint and body section. (this was also practice for the ebay superhawk thread update coming soon!)

Oh wow. I'm going to find that thread.
Great job. Would ask you some questions, but I'll just read the thread first!
Definitely different, looks great, and you saved maybe a pound or so!

I'm not sure exactly what is, but there's something I like about the bare, industrial look. But at the same time, I like the warm, cozy feeling of having interior and the sound deadening effects!
