I was on the hwy for a while this afternoon and when i got off and slowed down it was idling high. It was at about 1,200rpm and stayed there then it finaly came down to normal. I was just wondering what it was or what do i need to do?

That is normal my car does that from time to time as well. I used to think I had a problem but I heard it is that way to keep the brake booster charged for stopping. I figued out all cars do that if you just drive about 20-25 and put them in neutral they hang around 1200-1300 before lumbering back down to normal. My moms 300M and my dads silverado 6.0 do the same thing. Hope this helps.
