Default Steering Shaft Removal

Im in the middle of a cam swap and i have only 4 bolts left on the drivers side head so i can get it off and move on with the swap. however my header is in the way and it wont drop down low enough without hitting the steering shaft. how can i move it out of the way...

I would remove this bolt and wiggle/hammer/persuade the steering shaft from the column shaft.

Yea thats the one i took out and tried persuading it with a hammer but had no luck...

I was able to get the jaw of a water pump plyer into the gap ahead of the bolt. pried a little to free it up then pull it off.
