It is a new GM LSX block with a 4.185 bore, a K1 crank with a 4.125 stroke, K1 rods 6.125 H beam rods, and Wiseco 2.8 cc dome piston. Also with Wiseco gas nitrited rings and Clevite bearings.
K1 crank part # 346-4125RB6F-58
K1 rods part # CH6.125ALLBLS.
Wiseco pistons part #
Wiseco rings part # 4188GFM
I was going to run this motor with a set of DR LSX heads and DR intake (which I have) and was going to hit a compression ratio of 15.5 : 1. If you used a 70cc LS7 head you will be around a 12.5 :1 compression ratio.
This motor was going to be ran in a sand drags rail car, but we hurt the motor in the other car and it needs a set of heads so that is why this short block is for sale.
In the pictures the motor was just assemblied nothing has been torqued down yet. Still have the boxes for everything
