honestly i have ZERO regrets, this thing is too much fun. shes a little dirty but ill fix that. its an 02 22k miles stock except a short shifter. stock tires too just like i mentioned in my other thread.

i got raped a little bit on this one. my camaro was a 1SS manual with the only option being polished wheels instead of midnight silver. 7k miles $24k for trade in, $26k for the Z. i def. would've got more if it was an auto. my payments are $50 lower a month and my insurance went up $30 every month. if i had time i would've sold it outright for about 28-29kish but who knows how long that would've taken. plus over time the Z will hold its value more than a ss.
when i came back from afghanistan i was deciding between a c5z and a 5th gen i wanted a z everyone else suggested a 5th gen and i listened to them instead of listening to myself, i will never do that again. i am very happy i finally got what I wanted and wouldn't change a thing.
you live and you learn i guess.

Wow I can't believe you got less for the SS than the Z06 cost. Amazing how much these Z06's still cost these days. When I picked up my WS6 last February, I was in the market for a Z06....Problem was the wife was not...! So when I found my WS6 for $7500 vs. the Z06's for $25-30K she was quickly a big trans am fan lol. I'm still looking at Z06's but will probably wait for the C6 Z's to drop in price before I take the plunge.
Anyways, congrats on getting your dream car. And big props also to serving our country, thanks!
