Ok, so I tried replacing the bulb in my headlamp switch today. Keep in mind, I've never taken the assembly out before. I took the thing completely apart, and inside there's a spring attached to the switch with a very small ball bearing. The ball bearing fell out, so now the switch has a lot of play in it. Does anyone know if I can get the ball bearing at an auto parts store? Also, does anyone know what size it is?

Well I didn't notice the bulb at first, but I think I may have found it. Is this it?

Honestly, it will probably be easier to buy a used headlight assembly in the classifieds than to try to track down that ball bearing. For future reference, you do not need to take the assembly apart to change the bulb. Just 1/2 turn counter-clockwise and it pops out the top.

I lost a ball bearing in my Camaro's A/C switches once.
Was easier to take the whole thing from a junkyard.
Best Of luck.

I'll keep my eyes open for one at the Junkyard.

I know I'm late, but yes, that's the bulb...
