Default I lost :(

Well I got killed to day My buddy just a 99 ws6 m6. It's all stock my car is in sig. We work at the same place so we usually ride together to work, but we drove separate today since hes leaving for the beach today. I knew it was on since we haven't raced yet.
Well we line up on the interstate at60mph and I honk it off. I take off and pretty much leave him... I'm thinking he broke something. He calls and says he couldn't hear the horn. We line up again at 60 this time I hold fingers up and count to 3. He instantly jumps out and starts to walk away, shut it down about 110 with him a good car ahead and still pulling
O well I guess I'll have to mod up.

I lost. And to the Other guy that asked why it was a high roll. We were on the interstate and already slowing traffic enough at 60.

Sounds about right to me a stock m6 pulling away from a stock a4 from a 60 roll.

A stock A4 vs a stock M6, of course your gonna lose. Get a stall and see what happens.

That's a garage, not a signature but I found it.

You roll raced a m6 from 60mph in a stock auto? ...you had a better chance of ******* Angelina Jolie than winning that race.

I have mine set to downshift to 2nd well past 60mph, but even then without a stall you're pissing up a stick trying to run from there in an auto.

A dig would be best I suppose but then again, what if the driver shifts perfectly?

Yea IDK why everyone is on the Dig wagon. There are some m6's that can drive - esp all things equal on an unprepped street lol.

Not saying it would be a sure thing, but a stock m6 on street tires versus a stock a4 with the junk stock converter on street tires is a vast advantage for the a4.

The OP needs to invest in a converter and some drag radials then see what happens...both from a roll and a dig.

I agree that the A4 has the "Launching" advantage (9/10 times) over the M6. Seen it a few times with cars of similair mods
